Sharon took over duties of director and faced with tasks she was not sure she could achieve. The industry was new and she had never run a company before. Daycares are not easy organizations to run and face a multitude of challenges.
Sharon was inexperienced but willing to learn. She wanted to make sure the staff stayed in place and improve the profitability of the company. the company.
We set up a system of reporting that allowed us access to financial information while freeing up Sharon’s time up from the accounting and bookkeeping portion of her business. Using the information, we provided timely and accurate financial statements that gave Sharon good financial information to assist her in making important management decisions. Worked with Sharon to find affordable benefits as well as working with the company to improve profitability was our goal. Provided a sounding board for Sharon to talk over her business decisions, as well as use our experience to provide options
The company was able to offer health insurance, dental, vision and life insurance to the staff. As a result, the number of children in the daycare increased, which improved profitability. The profits were invested into employee bonuses on top of the benefits, and the facility was able to be upgraded. This helped the company to be approved to become part of the Delaware Stars Program, which helped improve the finances.
Becoming a part of the Delaware Stars Program helped provide additional funding to the center and we were able to make major improvements. Our biggest challenge was to upgrade our playground to meet Delaware State Code. Because of the financial guidance we were receiving we were able to upgrade the playground as well as replace the dated structure. Other upgrades included a new roof and flooring throughout the building. Wise Business Solutions has helped Toddlers Tech, Inc. achieve financial stablitity.
